Lamtec Foil Scrim Craft (FSK)
Lamtec Foil Scrim Craft (FSK) Vapour Barrier is a high-performance, multi-layered building material designed to control moisture transmission within walls, ceilings, and floors. It typically consists of a durable aluminum foil layer bonded to a polyethylene film, reinforced with a scrim (woven mesh) for added strength and tear resistance. The foil acts as a reflective barrier, reducing heat transfer, while also preventing the ingress or egress of moisture vapor.
It’s widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. They are installed on the warm side of insulation in walls, ceilings, and floors to prevent moisture from passing through and condensing within the building envelope.
